Empowering Thought

“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward-to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.”

(Philippians 3:12-14 MSG)

As I reflected on the past year and all that had happened; living in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, dreams and desires that were still in my heart, and a list of things that were not completed. What I heard the Spirit of God saying is “press on in Christ….” and to be honest I don’t see myself going any other way than pressing into the upward call in Christ Jesus.

In Christ, the only way is up!

However, I want to encourage your heart with these same words, to continue to press on to the high life and upward call in Christ. You have been called into an abundant overflowing life. The life in you is released daily, as you rise up in yourself each day, with the fresh grace He bestows on you to live everyday fully. God has not changed His mind about His plans for your life, no matter what is happening around you or in the world. The words of scripture have never been more apt. The people of God will rise up in the power that is resident in their hearts, to shine in the darkness that seems to be pervading our world, because the greater One lives in you and I. Therefore rise up to the life in you.

Get a hold of all your dreams and aspirations and bring them before the promise keeping God.

The bible says in Isaiah 1:18 AMPC “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.”
